In January of 2025, Draftology became the proud owners of a Leica RTC360.

This opened a door for us to existing and new clients. The ability to go and scan a job, come back to the office and start on the detailing, without needing to engage a 3rd party.

Point cloud scanning allows accuracy that cant be achieved with a traditional measuring tape site measure. It also means you capture the entire site and see things you may not have otherwise. It means that when you are part way through detailing and need dimensional information you weren’t aware of in the beginning, you have it on hand already.

These few reasons can make all the difference between a good job and a bad one when it comes to installing steel on site.

To date, we have done many scan and detail projects including; car showrooms, existing commercial buildings and schools. We also work closely with an architectural firm and have done many scan only jobs for them for pubs and the like.
